Karachi!
We are learning all about Karachi! Karachi is a coastal city in Pakistan and it is situated in the continent of Asia. We are making comparisons between Karachi and Birmingham by looking at the key physical features of both cities. We are also learning the names of the seven continents of the world and the names of the Oceans!
Writing - We are writing to INFORM! We will be writing letters to Greenpeace, who are an environmental charity. They raise awareness on how to look after the Earth and the environment. We will be writing to them to ask for help with the litter problem in Birmingham.
DT- We are designing safety jackets in DT for Paddington Bear! He will be travelling to Karachi from Birmingham and needs a jacket that will keep him warm and dry! We will be exploring different types of materials and thinking about which material is the best to use. We are also going to use our evaluation skills and say what we like and don't like about safety jackets that are already on the market.
Science - We are learning all about Living things and their Habitats!
