Children must, by law, start school at the beginning of the term after their fifth birthday. However, at present, in Birmingham children are admitted in September at the start of the academic year in which they reach five years of age.
During October 2016 the parents of children who are due to start school were sent a letter and a pre-printed form advising them of how to apply for a reception school place and where to obtain the primary information booklet.
Copies of the booklet were available at all Birmingham Primary Schools, Libraries, Health Centres, Children's Centres, Doctors Surgeries, private and Community Nurseries and also electronically.
Parents could also apply on-line or by completing the Local Authority Preference form which was sent out during October.
Offer emails and letters were sent out on 18th April 2017.
Parents can apply for a place in the autumn of the year before their child turns 4 years of age. It’s important that you apply for a place as soon as possible.
Our admission number is now 120 pupils and admission arrangements are based upon the local authority criteria, as specified in the Primary Education Booklet produced annually and available for download here.
If you wish to look around the school prior to making a decision on which school is best for your child then please contact the school office who will be happy to book an appointment for you.
