Home Reading Homework

The expectations for Home Reading are:

  • Pupils read 5 times per week for about 10 minutesĀ a time

  • An adult or older sibling should sign the home reading diary to confirm they haveĀ heard the pupil read

  • Class teachers will check that home reading books and signed diaries are in school every day

  • Class teachers will inform parents at the earliest opportunity if pupils are not reading
