Who is this for?
For children and an adult family member. The course is suitable for
children who are over 3 years old and who would like to learn about
stretching and balancing and play games with a focus on yoga.
Adults just need to be enthusiastic about learning and willing to try
Each adult can bring up to 2 children.
Length of Course:
10 to 12 hours. To make the most of this course you will need to
attend each session which will be on Wednesday afternoons from 1:30pm
What will we learn?
You will learn safe ways to stretch and balance and to co-ordinate
What will we be doing?
You will be taking part in a variety of exercises and yoga postures led
by the tutor along with some team games and activities.
You will also practise simple relaxation techniques.
What do I need to bring?
Nothing - the course is FREE! All the equipment and materials will
be provided by the tutor and are child-friendly. You should both
wear clothes which are comfortable and easy to stretch in.
What could this course lead to?
Your family will get a certificate of achievement when you complete
the course. If you wish we can also give you information about
other learning opportunities or courses for adults to join in the local
