Who is this for?
For children and an adult family member. The course is suitable for
children who are 4-16 years old and who would like to learn about
making food which is fun, healthy and attractive. Adults just need to
be enthusiastic about learning and willing to try new things.
Each adult can bring up to 2 children.

Length of Course:
10/12 hours. To make the most of this course you will need to
attend each session.

What will we learn?
You will learn about what is good to eat and why it is good for you.
You will learn interesting ways to present the food and find out
about the effect of different foods on the body.

What will we be doing?
You will be playing games and taking part in activities about food
and drink. You will be discussing what you eat now and looking
at small changes you could make. You will find out about recipes
which are tasty and healthy.

What do I need to bring?
Nothing - the course is FREE! All the equipment and materials will
be provided by the tutor and are child-friendly.

What could this course lead to?
Your family will get a certificate of achievement when you complete
the course. We will also give you information about other learning
opportunities and courses for adults to join in the local area.
