Length of Course:
10 to 12 hours. To make the most of this course you will need to
attend each session.

What will we learn?
By taking part you will learn how to use the internet safely for a
range of purposes: online shopping, comparing prices and items,
booking days out. You will learn how to find out information using
search engines and key websites.

What will we be doing?
Where can I buy DVDs the cheapest?
Find out what a wiki, a blog or a cookie do?
You will be surfing the internet to find out how it can help you doing
everyday tasks and to find out information. You will be setting up,
sending and receiving emails and using the internet to help you
create your own documents.

What do I need to bring?
Nothing - the course is FREE! All the equipment and materials will
be provided by the tutor and are child-friendly.

What could this course lead to?
Your family will get a certificate of achievement when you complete
the course. We will also give you information about other learning
