It gives me great pleasure to introduce myself as the new Headteacher at Hodge Hill Primary School.
I am joining Hodge Hill Primary School, having spent the last ten years as Headteacher at St Giles Junior School in Bedworth. Previous to that I worked at a number of schools in Birmingham.
I was certain from my first impressions of the school, during my interview process, that Hodge Hill was the right choice for me as a Headteacher. I was immediately impressed by the warm welcome that I received as a visitor to the school. Later, upon meeting many of the children and staff, I was impressed by their highly skilled and professional approaches to teaching and learning.
The students, I had the pleasure of meeting, were inquisitive, engaging and generally proud of their school. Finally, for me, the Governors demonstrated clear levels of support and challenge, mixed together with high ambition of their school.
I am very proud to be the new Headteacher of Hodge Hill and to be leading what I believe is a school with huge potential. It is my intention as the new Head to work with the Governors, staff, students and you as parents and carers to build up and develop the school into a truly outstanding educational establishment.
I hope that you will want to visit Hodge Hill Primary School. I would very much like to meet you, but more importantly, I would like you to see the school, talk to the children and staff and experience firsthand the wonderful opportunities that we are able to offer our children.
You should find all the information you need about the school here on this interactive site. If, however, we have missed something please do contact us and we will be happy to help. The school app is also a brilliant way to keep up to date with what’s going on around school while you’re on the move! Ask at the office for more details.
Finally, I would like to thank you personally for your continued commitment and support towards the staff and pupils of this school.
Mrs Anne Perry
